Meet Rick

Rick Hill is a retired FBI Agent and Security Professional with 30+ years of experience in conducting and managing domestic and international counterterrorism, intelligence, criminal enterprise investigations and security operations. He finished his career as a Senior Manager responsible for directing FBI international counterterrorism investigations originating from the Middle East, Africa, Canada and Latin America.

As an FBI veteran, Rick conducted and managed investigations focusing on counterterrorism, counterintelligence, organized crime and drug trafficking organizations. He finished his career with the FBI as a Senior FBI Representative at the CIA Counterterrorism Center (CTC) responsible for managing inter-agency relationships, identifying investigative strategy and interpreting corporate policy for FBI and CIA Senior Executives on Counterterrorism matters.

Upon retirement, Rick joined the US Department of Health and Human Services as Associate Director and spearheaded a project to develop HHS’s Counterintelligence and Cyber Threats programs. He was responsible for managing the department’s efforts to detect, deter, and mitigate national security and cyber threats. In addition, Rick developed and managed  both HHS department and Cyber Threat initiatives.

Additionally, Rick represented HHS on the National Security Council Information Sharing Environment Program – The Global Cybersecurity subcommittee for Critical Infrastructure Security & Resilience Policy Program and the National Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) sub-committee.

Rick also served as Co-Chair of the Alert, Warning & Notification sub-committee to develop national standards.
